Barrel Depot is a small Minnesotan company that is working towards an eco-friendly environment. We salvage young, good condition, used wine barrels to reuse, convert them into rain barrels and repurpose.

The barrels are constructed from solid American or French Oak.  Many of the barrels we aquire can still be used for wine making.  Some people even choose to make beer or tequila in our barrels!

The primary use for our barrels is to create eco-friendly rain barrels.  Each rain barrel is made with premium components that allows for use year after year.  The brass spigot with hose connection allows for direct watering and the over-flow valve prevents back up. The mesh screen prevents debris from getting into the barrel.  Multiple barrels can also be connected to each other.

At Barrel Depot we recognize that conservation is key. Collecting rainwater creates a multitude of benefits.  Some of those benefits include:

-Reduces Water Runoff

Less water goes into the sewer system, lakes and streams.  This is important, in order to help to prevent erosion.

-Allows watering during water restrictions

-Reduces water Bills

The amount of rainwater collected after one year can save you the cost of the barrel and more!

-Enhances Plant Growth

Rainwater is naturally soft water.  It does not have added minerals, chlorine or any other unnecessary added chemicals.  Plants watered with rain water tend to flourish and respond better!

Why should you want to recycle rain water?

When the entire community does it's part in conserving water there is a savings in the pollution levels, the amount of water consumed, savings on bills and an abundance of water to keep your gardens and plants beautiful when water restrictions are required.
